Urban Family Photos – The Cameron Family
I’ve known Kendra since she was four – went from babysitting her to attending her wedding to Mike, and celebrating the birth of her children. The arrival of Riley had her pushing me into baby & family photography, and baby brother Braiden was added incentive. Over the past few years we’ve shot at home, in the local playground, and at various parks around Calgary. This year we decided to try something different and headed for an urban location – downtown Calgary.
Kendra rose to the occasion and found the cutest outfits for the boys which helped contribute to the whole feel. Riley, as always, had a mind of his own, and his facial expressions are priceless – not always to the amusement of his mother who is looking for that one good shot to use as the family photo for Christmas cards and the like.
Starting at the Bow Tower, home of the ‘big head’ sculpture, carrying on to graffiti painted walls, the historic Hudson’s Bay archways, and down 8th Ave towards Olympic Plaza, we had a great time playing in doorways, on benches and around lamp posts. The City provides wonderful ‘natural’ props.
